There are many things an expectant mother should not do: smoke, drink, consume undercooked meats... or spend time in the demon-infested swamps of Tanglebriar.
Unfortunately, Nireli's mother did exactly that, unknowingly campaigning in the swamp during those first crucial weeks of pregnancy. Nireli was thus born a cambion: a child with fiendish mutations.
Of course, no demon-slaying warrior looks askance at a potential weapon, not even a fiendish one. At her mother's urging, Nireli began training at a young age to be a warrior.
Early in her career, Nireli's sect of demon-hunting warriors deployed to stave off a demonic incursion. The mission was successful, but at great cost, with much of the leadership dying along with Nireli's mother. Without leadership, the sect dissolved.
With no ties, Nireli now wanders the world, working as a mercenary, lending her talents to causes that she finds either sympathetic or profitable. Several decades of this have taught her a few things she didn't learn in Kyonin.

Nireli's a typical elf; tall and slim. Fiendish blood has added the atypical: her skin is a pale grey-green, and her hair a rich shade of emerald. Two small horns sprout from her head. Her eyes smoulder with chartreuse fire. Some say all this colouration is the influence of Tanglebriar's muck and slime.
Her fiendish blood has enhanced her physicality. Her speed and strength doesn't exceed the peak of what "pure-blooded" elves can achieve, but these things come easily to her rather than requiring dedicated training and exercise.
Nireli is an elf (nephilim) for Pathfinder 2e. She's designed for use in the Triumph of the Tusk "Belkzen Operations" side-adventures, which are quests for a secondary roster of characters. She started at level 6.
At the time of writing, the Daredevil class was in playtest. The "side-quest" nature of the Belkzen Operations presented a perfect opportunity to try a playtest class.
The character is designed to be a highly dextrous and mobile martial, somewhere between fighter, swashbuckler, and rogue. But while those classes focus more on technique, Nireli leverages brazen aggressiveness. As seems to be the point of the Daredevil class!
Nireli is based on my night elf demon hunter character from World of Warcraft. In-game, Demon Hunters are very mobile, much like Daredevils. They are also usually edgy and sullen types, but Nireli bucked that trend, as I transmogged her to use simple weapons and armour.
Nireli's art comes from another WoW player who found my character's appearance interesting enough to use for art practise. It's been so long; sadly I've lost this artist's name.
Like all characters, Nireli's personality may change as the campaign progresses.
